NORTHERN CALIFORNIA-NAPA RIVER-MARE ISLAND DRAWBRIDGE-The lift span of the Bridge will be secured in the closed-to-navigation position from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on October 17, 2026. This temporary closure is necessary to correct a mechanical imbalance that is causing vertical misalignment of the span and to ensure its continued operation. When closed, the bridge provides 13 feet of vertical clearance at mean high water. Vessels that can safely pass beneath the closed bridge may continue to transit at any time. Comments regarding the proposed temporary closure must be submitted by close of business on October 8, 2026, via email to [email protected].
