SECTOR LOS ANGELES, TERRITORIAL SEA - SECTOR LOS ANGELES, SUBMERGED LAND ACT (SLA) General / Marine Construction (Excluding Bridges) / Dredging Manson Construction Co. will conduct hydraulic maintenance dredging of the Alamitos Bay Entrance Channel using the cutter suction dredge HR Morris. Operations will occur at approximately 33-44.59N 118-07.25W (NOAA Chart 18749), beginning on or about October 12, 2026, and concluding on or before November 30, 2026. Operations will be conducted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Vessels involved include dredge HR Morris (Call Sign WCZ5434), DB Freya (Call Sign WDA4208), dredge tender Pup (Call Sign WAB4086), dredge tender Cub (Call Sign WCZ5656), and survey boat Rustler (Call Sign WAB4086). Vessels will monitor VHF-FM channels 16 and 67. Dredged material will be transported through floating and shore pipeline to the disposal area at Peninsula Beach. Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
