Brent Spence Highway Bridge; Continuing until further notice, construction operations will be held on the new Brent Spence Companion Bridge, in the vicinity of Mile 471.2. Work will be conducted from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Construction will reduce the horizontal clearance of the existing Brent Spence Highway Bridge to 700 feet. The bridge’s red channel lights will be moved 50 feet towards the center of the bridge on each side and will remain in that position for the duration of construction. The M/V KAITLYN MARIE will be on sight and will be monitoring VHF-FM Channels 13 and 16, and requests 60-minutes advance notice of passage. Mariners are encouraged to transit the area with caution, remain alert to construction vessel traffic and equipment in the vicinity and report any unsafe conditions to the US Coast Guard.
