HOUSTON SHIP CHANNEL - SAN JACINTO RIVER
General / Bridges / Repairs, Painting, Or Fender Replacement
San Jacinto River - Houston Ship Channel - Bridge Rehabilitation --- --- The I-10 Fixed Bridge across the San Jacinto River in Channelview, TX, will be rehabilitated and repainted. Work will take place each night, Sunday through Thursday, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., the following day. During work, a snooper truck will be deployed below the bridge. When working in the main channel, the truck will be removed when marine traffic is approaching the bridge to allow vessels to pass underneath. Mariners should contact the work supervisor on VHF-FM Channel 13 to coordinate passing arrangements.
