Mobile Bay - Tensaw River - Spanish River - Bridge Construction --- --- Construction of the new eastbound SR-16 (HWY 98) bridge near the mouth of the Tensaw/Spanish River is in progress in Mobile Bay. Work will include pile driving, seawall installation, beam setting, false work support piling and westbound bridge demolition. Operations will take place from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. On-scene vessels will include the T/Vs MISS ALLI, MISS HALEY and KEITH JACOBSON, the Spud Barges KS561 and MCC1507, two crew boats, four deck barges, and a ringer barge. Mariners are requested to transit the area with caution and at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake. VHF-FM Channel: 16, POC: (334) 704-3314
