HOUSTON SHIP CHANNEL - BAYPORT SHIP CHANNEL
General / Marine Construction (Excluding Bridges) / Boring and Core Samples
Bayport Ship Channel - Galveston Bay - Soil Boring --- --- Geotechnical soil boring will be conducted south of the Bayport Ship Channel in Galveston Bay. Operations will be conducted from a liftboat between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., daily. On-scene vessels will include the L/B KORI BELL and the Support Vessel METEORITE. Vessels will move offsite and demobilize after work hours each day. During working hours, the L/B will be restricted in maneuverability. Mariners are urged to maintain a wide berth from the project vessels during working hours. POC: (504) 715-6221
