GIWW - Bridge Lighting Discrepancy --- Reported: 2026-07-06 --- The bridge lighting on the Black Bayou Bridge has been reported partially extinguished due to a recent bridge allision. Bridge lights on the south side of the bridge are operating properly. The northwest portion of the bridge lights have been temporarily replaced with solar powered navigation lights. The northeast portion of bridge lights and the pontoon/bridge deck lights are extinguished until further notice. The bridge is currently in the open to navigation position and will remain open until the bridge has been repaired. Mariners are urged to transit the bridge with extreme caution.
