Galveston Harbor Channel - Port of Galveston - Draft Restrictions --- To: Until Further Notice --- Draft restrictions of 44 ft or less are in place at the Port of Galveston. Waivers for vessel drafts may be granted based on the state of tides and transit plans. All deep draft vessels should transit the channel with caution and reference recent USACE channel surveys at: http://www.swg.usace.army.mil/Missions/Navigation/Navigation-Projects-Contracts/
