Location: 32-56.42N 079-55.42W Aid Name: Cooper River Range D Rear Light LLNR: 3045 Action: RELOCATE The U.S. Coast Guard has approved the following changes to the Aids to Navigation System in the Cooper River: Cooper River Range D Rear Light (LLNR 3045) will be permanently relocated to approximate position 32-56.45N 079-55.35W. Cooper River Range D/F Front Light (LLNR 3040) will have the flash characteristic changed from a Q W to a FL W 2.5s. The light will continue to be an all-around light. Due to the current location of Cooper River Range D Rear Light (LLNR 30465) being inaccessible for a Coast Guard asset to effectively repair the structure, it was determined by relocating the rear range approximately 400 feet further from its current location will offer a much improved range quality and allow CG personnel to service at any tidal state.
