Location: 38-19.54N 076-28.35W Bridge Name: 4 State Route Bridge Mariners are advised that an engineering firm, working on behalf of the Maryland State Highway Administration, will conduct inspections on the SR 4 (Thomas Johnson) Bridge across Patuxent River, mile 4.0, at Solomons, MD. A snooper truck will be used to inspect the underside of the bridge superstructure. This work will occur from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday, November 15, 2026, to Tuesday, November 24, 2026. Inspection personnel and equipment will be in the vicinity of the navigation channel but are not expected to impede marine traffic. Work vessels may be contacted on VHF FM Channels 13 and 16.
