Location: 39-17.65N 075-13.61W 39-16.95N 075-13.32W 39-16.58N 075-14.84W 39-17.25N 075-15.19W 39-17.65N 075-13.61W Mariners are advised that H&L Contracting will be conducting dredging operations in Nantuxent Creek from September 7, 2026, through October 28, 2026. Work will be conducted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Dredging operations will be performed using the cutter-suction dredge “Scout,” with a pipeline attached at the stern extending to the disposal site. Multiple tugboats, an excavator barge, and an unnamed skiff will also be operating in the area. The channel will remain open during dredging; however, channel width will be reduced, and occasional channel crossings may occur. All mariners are advised to reduce speed to the minimum required for safe steerage while transiting the vicinity of the dredging operations. The dredge pipeline will be marked with regulatory buoys and flashing yellow lights. The dredge and associated work vessels will monitor VHF-FM Channels 65 and 16. Mariners are advised to proceed with caution when transiting the area and to contact the dredge 30 minutes in advance for any special arrangements.
