Location: 38-27.15N 075-03.84W Bridge Name: 54 State Route Bridge Mariners are advised that an engineering firm, on behalf of the Delaware Department of Transportation, will begin construction to replace the existing Lighthouse Road Bridge across Assawoman Bay, at mile 9.5, between Selbyville and Fenwick Island, DE, with a new precast concrete multi-span bridge. Construction will commence from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 1, 2026, through May 1, 2028. During construction, a barge equipped with a personnel lift will be IVO the navigation channel but shouldn’t impede vessel traffic. Mariners should use extreme caution when navigating through the area. MSI #51644.
