FIRE ISLAND INLET General / Marine Construction (Excluding Bridges) / Facilities, Barriers, Manmade Reefs, Riprap, Jetties / Dikes Location: 40-26.08N 073-21.50W • The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation will deploy the 90-foot steel vessel Prudence Ferry as artificial-reef material at Sixteen Fathom Reef, approximately 40°26'05" N, 073°21'30" W, beginning on or after November 4, 2026. Deployment is expected to take one day and will occur between dawn and dusk. Miller's Tug & Barge Inc. will conduct transport and deployment operations.
