EASTERN APPROACH - EAST PASSAGE General / Autonomous Vessel Operations Anduril Industries will conduct autonomous underwater vehicle testing in Rhode Island Sound from October 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026, daily from 0600 to 1800. Operations will involve a 19-foot autonomous underwater vehicle and support vessel F/V VOYAGER. The operating area is bounded by the following approximate positions: 41°27'02.6418"N, 071°25'36.303"W; 41°27'06.3036"N, 071°21'52.2786"W; 41°22'44.5584"N, 071°20'57.7422"W; and 41°22'52.1544"N, 071°27'19.911"W. Mariners are requested to use caution when transiting the area. F/V VOYAGER may be contacted on VHF-FM channels 16 and 13. Once submerged and on mission, the AUV will be restricted in its ability to maneuver until it reaches its preset destination. Valid 2026-10-01 to 2026-12-31.
