From August 1, 2026, through October 9, 2026, between 6:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., underwater repairs to the Brooklyn pier and fender of the Brooklyn Bridge across the East River at mile 0.8 shall take place utilizing divers from a platform moored adjacent to the Brooklyn pier. Mariners can contact the contractor via marine radio VHF-FM Ch. 13/16 or call Tom McIntosh from JT Cleary at (201) 417-4115. Mariners are advised to transit at a slow bell and exercise caution through the area.
