Location: 42-22.14N 071-03.92W Bridge Name: MBTA Railroad Bridge MASSACHUSETTS – BOSTON INNER HARBOR – LOWER CHARLES RIVER – Temporary Deviation Mariners are advised a temporary Deviation has been issued for the opening schedule of the MBTA Draw One bridge over the Charles River. Under this temporary deviation, the bridge operator need not open for marine traffic from 6:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. from September 20, 2026, through October 3, 2026. Furthermore, the bridge needs only open for marine traffic on the hour from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from September 20, 2026, through October 3, 2026. Vessels able to transit without a bridge opening are free to do so. For more information contact Mr. Karl Eckstrom at (857) 329-8231. Mariners are advised to use caution and transit at slow speed to minimize wake.
