Location: 40-36.27N 073-34.21W Bridge Name: Loop State Pkwy Bridge From September 8-25, 2026, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., NYCDOT will be performing bridge washing on the following bridges: - Meadowbrook State Parkway Bridge over False Channel at mile 0.7 - Meadowbrook State Parkway Bridge over Fundy Channel at mile 2.7 - Meadowbrook State Parkway Bridge over Sloop Channel at mile 12.8 - Loop Parkway Bridge over Swift Creek at mile 11.9 - Loop Parkway Bridge over Long Creek at mile 0.7 - Wantagh State Parkway Bridge over Seamans Island Creek at mile 0.5 - Wantagh State Parkway Bridge over Goose Creek at mile 16.1 - Wantagh Parkway Bridge over Sloop Channel at mile 15.4 - Robert Moses Causeway over Fire Island Inlet at mile 4 A Snooper Truck with a safety boat in the water will be utilized. Mariners requiring full vertical clearance can contact the contractor via marine radio VHF-FM Ch. 13/16 or call 631-339-4810. Mariners are advised to exercise caution when transiting the area.
