Mariners are advised that asbestos removal and reinforcement works on the piers and abutments of the Gabarre bridge on the Rivière Salée are in progress.
Technical equipment deployed: scaffolding with heat-shrink wrapping, floating pontoon.
Marine craft used: one barge, one boat and one lighter.
Marking in place: yellow spherical special mark buoys DN400, prohibition signs, worksite lighting.
Estimated duration of works: 18 months
Mariners are requested to reduce speed significantly when approaching this area and to comply with the signage and diversions in place
