Deactivation of Ludington, Michigan Regulated Navigation Area Enforcement The Captain of the Port, Sector Lake Michigan is deactivating and will cease enforcement of the Regulated Navigation Area (RNA) announced in MSIB 01-26. This deactivation applies to the RNA covering all navigable waters of the Ludington Harbor Ship Channel, Pere Marquette Lake, and a portion of Lake Michigan within 1,000 yards of the Ludington, Michigan harbor entrance. This cessation of enforcement will take effect on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 4 a.m. This action is taken as the hazardous conditions that prompted the enforcement are no longer present.
