Location: 37-01.48N 076-05.36W Bridge Name: US 13 (SB) Bridge Mariners are advised that bridge maintenance work, including cleaning, painting, and steel repairs, will continue at the US 13 North and South Channel Bridges over Chesapeake Bay and the North and South Cape Fisherman Inlet Bridges, between Cape Charles and Virginia Beach, Virginia. To facilitate this work, platforms will be installed beneath the bridges from 7 a.m. on October 28, 2026, through 7 a.m. on October 28, 2028. During this period, vertical clearance at the center spans will be reduced by approximately 3 feet due to the platforms: • North and South Channel Bridges: approximately 72 feet above mean high water • North and South Cape Fisherman Inlet Bridges: approximately 37 feet above mean high water Mariners should exercise caution when transiting the area.
