Location: 39-54.33N 075-07.77W Bridge Name: Walt Whitman Interstate 76 Bridge Mariners are advised that an engineering firm, on behalf of the Delaware River Port Authority, will be conducting maintenance at the Walt Whitman (I-76) Bridge over Delaware River, mile 96.8, in Philadelphia, PA. To facilitate bridge work, two 16FT BY 8 FT platforms will be installed under the bridge from 7 a.m. October 01, 2025, through 3.:30 p.m. October 08, 2026. One platform will be installed near Pennsylvania side under the bridge reducing the vertical clearance of the bridge approximately 3 feet to approximately 141 feet above mean highwater and the one platform will be installed near the New Jersey side under the bridge reducing the clearance of the bridge approximately 3 feet to approximately 143 feet above mean highwater. Mariners are advised to exercise caution when transiting the area.
