CAPE MAY INLET - NEW JERSEY INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY

The Ocean City Chase Race will occur on the Intracoastal Waterways of Ocean City, NJ on Saturday October 3, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event will involve multiple rowing races on a 4000 meter course between New Jersey Intracoastal Waterway Daybeacon 302 (light list number 36140) and New Jersey Intracoastal Waterway Buoy 282 (light list number 36070). A special local regulation will be enforced during the event, limiting access to the race area. Access through the waterway will be limited to set times between races. Mariners are urged to transit the area with caution at a slow, no wake speed and heed direction from official event patrol. Mariners may contact official patrol personnel via VHF radio channels 16 and 72.
