Description
Wave Glider C34167NS conducting unmanned scientific vehicle operations and is transiting between 49 49.325N 050 51.371W and 50 05.150N 050 26.617W for retrieval of acoustic data.
The wave glider is copper in colour, measuring 3.05 meters by 0.81 meters, with a mast extending 1.5 meters above the surface of the water supporting a solid white light and orange visibility flag. It is remotely operated, equipped with a non-transmitting AIS receiver, and moving at a speed of approximately 1.0 knots.
