Description
Wave Glider C34167NS conducting unmanned scientific vehicle operations and is transiting between 49 29.872N 050 06.314W and 49 29.899N 050 34.300W for retrieval of acoustic data.
The wave glider is copper in colour, measuring 3.05 meters by 0.81 meters, with a mast extending 1.5 meters above the surface of the water supporting a solid white light and orange visibility flag. It is remotely operated, equipped with a non-transmitting AIS receiver, and moving at a speed of approximately 1.0 knots.
