Description
Air shows taking place over Lake Ontario off Toronto. The Western Gap of Toronto Harbour and a large portion of Humber Bay will be closed to all marine traffic daily from 1600 UTC until 1945 UTC from 04 Sep 2026 until 07 Sep 2026. Vessels may exit the Inner Harbour through the Eastern Gap. Air show committee monitoring VHF channels 12 and 16.
Waterborne spectators may observe the air shows from the following positions:
- from east of a line from Gibraltar Point at 43 36.724N 079 23.383W to 43 36.299N 079 25.290W, forming the eastern limit of the exclusion zone.
- from south of a line running from the eastern limit to 43 37.275N 079 28.021W, off Humber Bay Park.
- from west of a line running from Humber Bay Park to the eastern shore of Humber River at 043 37.920N 079 28.180W.
Spectator boundaries will be monitored by the Toronto Police Services Marine Unit.
During air shows, no watercraft allowed at Hanlan's Point Beach and watercrafts moored within the protected waterway north of the seawall at Ontario Place must remain west of the Argonaut Rowing Club until completion of the practice event or any of the air shows.
