Firing exercises and temporary prohibited area off Nymindegab, North Sea

Live firing exercises will take place off Nymindegab in the North Sea on 10 November 2026 between 10:00 and 23:00 UTC. A temporary prohibited area is established at the position given and all navigation, anchoring and fishing are prohibited during the exercises. Day and night visual signals will be displayed on two signal masts west of Nyminde Strøm and VHF/phone contacts are provided. See chart 93 (INT 1044).

Do not navigate, anchor or fish in the prohibited area during firing. Monitor VHF channel 16 and channels 6 or 8 for information and contact the firing authority as provided.

In connection with firing practices, a temporary prohibited area is established on the sea off the firing practice area at position: - 55° 50'N - 008° 10'E. Prohibition: During firing practices, all navigation, anchoring and fishing are prohibited in the area. Signals: Information about firing practices is given by displaying the following signals on the signal masts W of Nyminde Strøm from one hour before the start of the firing practice and until its end: a) By daylight, a sphere is hoisted on the northern and southern signal mast. On the southern signal mast a white flash is lit (30 flashes per minute). b) In darkness a red and white alternating flashing light (30 flashes pr. minute) is lit at the southern signal mast. - 55° 50,49'N - 008° 09,92'E, northern signal mast. - 55° 49,46'N - 008° 10,23'E, southern signal mast.
